Mild-Hybrid Assist
The S-Class Sedans have turbo-charged engines,
giving you almost instant power. Paired with a
mild-hybrid assist, an additional boost and quick
acceleration is possible, all gas-free.
Suspension
The available AIRMATIC® package has the multimode
air suspension with rear-axle steering. This package
also comes with level control and adaptive damping.
Transmission
Working with DYNAMIC SELECT, the S-Class Sedan’s
9-speed automatic transmission is fine-tuned for
whatever mode your are driving in. Guiding the
throttle, steering, and more, the vehicle is
constantly giving the best performance possible.
Hybrid Plug In Power
The Hybrid S 580e gives the S-Class Sedan’s power
a whole new meaning. With 47 miles of electric
range and 502 max horsepower, the dual motors work
with the 3.0L inline-6 turbo engine for a new
kind of power.
