AMG®‘s wide stance is rounded out with AMG® light alloy or forged wheels with M01 (Mercedes Original 1) tires that are tailor-made for each AMG® model.
Every AMG® has M01 tires that are specifically made for each model. AMG® partners with tire brands, such as Michelin, Pirelli, and Continental to develop the best performance tires.
The MO1 tires are designed with a multi-compound construction, rubber mixture and carcass structure that complement the vehicle’s suspension for enhanced grip on wet and dry surfaces and Dynamic Response technology for more precise steering and handling. They also deliver shorter braking distance, better aquaplaning stability, lower rolling resistance and reduced tire noise.
The tires must reach the AMG® level of quality required, complying with over 40 detailed specifications. Each tire has gone through up to 1,000 hours of engineering and multiple rounds of testing and modification to ensure that the tire is developed up to AMG®’s standards.
Interior
Inside the cockpit is nothing short of motorsport flair. Depending on the model, the AMG® badge and crest are embossed throughout on touch points such as the ergonomically shaped AMG® steering wheel, center console, and head rests. Premium AMG® floors mats, stainless steel pedals, and AMG® illuminated door sills serve as the perfect entrance to every AMG®.
AMG® specific upholstery is available in quality hand-stitched Nappa leather and DINAMICA Microsuede. Carbon fiber elements and fine wood interior trims are furnished throughout the inside of the car with sport seats that offer perfect comfort and support in every driving situation.
