The widescreen dash now has two twin 12.3-inch
screens that are fully customizable to your

Burmester® 3D Surround Sound. It’s more than just

Transparent Bonnet
When you take your GLE 4MATIC® model off-road,
a virtual “transparent hood” feature uses exterior
cameras to create a view of the terrain beneath the
vehicle—displayed on the central touchscreen.
Mercedes-Benz App
MBUX lets you customize countless settings,
then save them in your personal profile in
the Mercedes-Benz app for Apple iPhone®, Apple
Watch® and Android-based phones. Your fingerprint
is one of several ways your GLE knows if it’s
you or another family member driving.
Advanced Driver Assists
Advanced driver assists monitor the road and your
surroundings to make driving safer and more convenient
—from smooth lane changes to to everyday cruising. Standard
Blind Spot Assist and Parktronic check for approaching traffic after
the vehicle is parked, for the ultimate safety. DISTRONIC® keeps
you and your vehicle safe while using cruise control.
Wireless Charging
Whether you prefer wireless or wired, the GLE will keep
your devices charged with wireless charging and three USB-C
that fold down at the touch of a button, you can expand
ports—including two located in the rear cabin for passengers.

DYNAMIC SELECT
DYNAMIC SELECT lets you tailor the GLE SUV’s
performance to suit your style—adjusting gear sifts,
throttle response, steering feel, and more. Choose from
ECO, Sport, Comfort, or a customizable Individual mode,
plus OFFROAD for 4MATIC® models. The GLE 450e plug-in
hybrid also includes three additional modes to optimize all-electric
and hybrid driving.
Hybrid Plug
A plug-in hybrid offers the expansive range of
of a turbo gasoline with the electric benefits of
a powerful electric motor and battery. Allowing for
up to 49 extra miles of electric range, you are able
to handle around shorter distances without using any
gasoline.
Engine
With a 48-volt electrical system and mild hybrid
assist, a gas-free performance boost is possible
in addition to the different turbocharged engines.
Suspension
Engineered for both smooth roads and,
rougher terrain, the GLE SUV’s suspension
system combines a four-wheel independent
layout with a multilink design—a
Mercedes-Benz innovation.
Trailer Hitch
The trailer hitch allows for over 7,000 pounds of
towing power. The included Trailer Stability
Assist eliminates shaking and sway of the trailer.
Trailer Maneuvering Assist helps straighten and
attach your load easily.
