Advanced Seat Style

The GLS 600 is the pinnacle of comfort for you and all of your passengers. Heated and ventilated front and rear seats come standard with six different massage features, including one that works with the heating system to feel like your getting a hot stone massage. The armrests of all seats are heated, and both front and rear cupholders are heated and cooled, keeping you and your passengers beverages hot or cold.

Climate Control

With four-zone automatic climate control, all passengers can adjust the climate based on their personal needs. The Executive Climate System adds even more ability for the rear passengers to adjust their climate settings, as well as extra vents in the floor, under the seats, and on the sides of the cabin that ensure effective and draft-free airflow throughout the cabin.

Luxury Technology

Mercedes-Maybach utilizes a lot of innovative technology to keep your GLS 600 functional with a luxurious touch. HANDS-FREE ACCESS allows you to open the automatic power liftgate with just a kick of your foot, and KEYLESS GO® means you can unlock, start, and drive your vehicle without taking the key out of your purse, bag, or pocket. To help decrease wear and tear on the doors, the GLS 600 is outfitted with soft-close doors, stopping the door before it is fully shut and lightly closing it for you.

Above and Beyond Luxuries

For the ultimate luxury experience, the GLS 600 has many options to keep you riding in comfort and style. The rear seats has available folding tables on each side, allowing you or your passengers to work or eat while on the go. A refrigerator box is available in between the folding rear seats, keeping your beverages chilled and is large enough to fit two full size champagne bottles. The refrigerator box can be paired with two Mercedes-Maybach champagne flutes that can sit comfortably in cupholders with metal pads.

Multimedia

The Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX) is a pioneer of digital cockpit menus. On a 12.3-inch touchscreen display, you can access different tools for navigation, sound menus, comfort features, and driving features. The 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster allows you to clearly and easily see the speedometer and other vehicle information. The Burmester® High-End 3D Surround Sound System delivers the most natural and crisp soundscape. Dolby Atmos with Sound Personalization utilizes all 29 speakers to listen in a three-dimensional sound field.

Augmented Reality and Cameras

MBUX Augmented Video for Navigation uses live imagery from the front central camera to show guiding arrows, street names, and even house numbers on a real time image. Head-Up Display projects a 9.5-inch wide wide virtual image that projects onto the lower part of the windshield, so you can see important travel information. Directions are displayed in your line of sight, minimizing the time your eyes are off of the road. A dashcam, Surround Sound System, and GUARD 360° security system ensures that you can see the surroundings of your vehicle at all times.

Driving Assists

The GLS 600 has multiple assists to aid you while driving. Active Brake Assist with Cross-Traffic Function actually applies the brake for you if it senses a possible collision. Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC® works alongside cruise control to adjust the speed of your vehicle, ensuring you are a safe distance away from the vehicle in front of you. Other driving assists include steering and lane changing assists, ATTENTION ASSIST®, and multiple PRESAFE® pre-collision detection assists.

Safety Features

The Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 SUV comes standard with a multitude of features to keep you safe. Outfitted with 9 airbags throughout the cabin, the special driver knee airbags ensure safety for your legs if a collision happens. MAGIC VISION CONTROL works with the automatic windshield wipers so you can always see clearly. The LED Intelligent Light System lights up the road ahead of you so you can see at night, in dark spaces, and when it is storming.

DESIGN

Exterior Design

The GLS is known for its grand size and unforgettable style. The GLS 600 takes the designs you know and love, and enhanced them further. The thin chrome vanes of the grille underneath the prestigious Maybach logo keeps the front of you vehicle sleek and modern. Different Mercedes-Benz and MANUFAKTUR exterior paint options are available, as well as two-tone paintwork style for the ultimate customization. Night Series and different accent packages are available if you want darker accessories like the Mercedes star on the hood.

Interior Design

Being the most spacious Maybach model, the GLS 600 gives you and your passengers even more room without omitting any luxury features. Standard with a sleek Natural Grain Grey Oak trim, there are three other MANUFAKTUR wood trim options available. The steering wheel is either full Nappa leather or a mix of wood and leather, paring it perfectly with the wood trim options and the Nappa leather luxury seats. You also have the option of either a 5-seat or 4-seat configuration for the cabin, allowing a bench seat or twin executive seats with a wood trim console in between.

Wheels

The Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 comes standard with large 22-inch Maybach multispoke wheels. Intricate radial chrome spokes give your wheels a classy and elegant look without sacrificing performance. If you prefer larger wheels, there are three 23-inch options. 23-inch forged multispoke wheels with the radial style are available with high-performance tires. 23-inch forged 5-hole monoblock wheels give a full disc appearance with five subtle notched slots near the perimeter. 23-inch Maybach 7-spoke wheels are exclusive to the Night edition and finished in a dark chrome.

Packages

Multiple different package options are available to enhance the design and functionality of your vehicle. The Maybach Night Series Design Package gives your vehicle a sleek and darker appearance. All exterior chrome trim accents are darkened, from the grille to the tailpipes. The Rear Seat Entertainment Package puts two 11.6-inch touchscreens on the back of the front seats to offer entertainment to the second row passengers. Each screen works independently, so passengers can watch, stream, or play on their own personal screen.

PERFORMANCE

Engine

A compact but high output 4.0L V8 biturbo engine with mild hybrid drive is what keeps the GLS 600 going. Powerful 550 horsepower and 568 lb-ft of torque mean you will move confidently and gracefully. The ECO Start®/Stop system shuts the engine down at stoplights and when the vehicle has been idle for some time. This saves fuel consumption and emits less emissions. This feature is able to be shut off by the driver if it is not needed at anytime.

Transmission

The 9G-TRONIC 9-speed automatic transmission changes gears quickly and efficiently. Shift paddles allow the drive to manual shift gears with their hands right from the steering wheel. The transmission works with the DYNAMIC SELECT system, which can adjust the speed of gear changes and change the gears depending on the mode you have it set to. Modes include Comfort, Sport, Offroad, and an exclusive Maybach mode that focuses on less gear shifts for comfortability.

Suspension

The suspension in the GLS 600 uses E-ACTIVE BODY CONTROL, which can scan the upcoming road surface and adapt the spring rate, damping, and leveling for each wheel based on the condition of the road. It works with the 48-volt electronic system to tilt into turns to reduce turn force felt by rear passengers, and keeps the vehicle feeling more level if on a hill or slope. 4MATIC® all-wheel drive sends all of the force to either the front or rear axle, wherever it is needed. The increased torque helps with cornering and handling.

Other Performance Features

For your adventurous side, an OFFROAD mode is available to give you more control and handling on sand, dirt, or gravel. The OFFROAD menu in the center display features a transparent bonnet, which allows you to see a video from your hood perspective, but clear, so you can see underneath the front of your vehicle. Also in the central menu is one-touch “Carwash mode”, which automatically retracts running boards and mirrors, fully raise the suspension, and suspend any other functions that aren’t needed during the car wash.
