Wide Touchscreen
The large 12.3-inch touchscreen is visually and
technologically updated for easy use and quick
response, Showcasing the timeless Mercedes-Benz
luxury and technology.
Three Customizable Rows
With three separate rows with customizable options,
including a full bench seat second row or a captains chair
setup. 64-color ambient lighting, available massage
seats, and 5-zone climate control, the opportunities are
endless. You can create your dream GLS and accommodate
others as well. The 2026 models is redesigned with exterior
updates like new grill and bumpers.
Long Wheel Base for Stability
Engineered for both smooth roads and rougher terrain,
the GLS SUV’s longer wheel base gives the large SUV
more stability and decreases the chances of a bumpy ride.
Wheels
In addition to the long wheel base, the GLS SUV’s
wheels start at a large 21 inches. With options
up to 23 inches and the AMG® Line that is standard
on the GLS 580, the intense and superb look of the
GLS can be made even bolder.
INNOVATION
The GLS SUV comes standard with truly luxurious seating for seven adults.
The six-seater options come with second row captain chairs and direct walk-
through access to the third row.
DYNAMIC SELECT
DYNAMIC SELECT lets you tailor the GLS SUV’s
performance to suit your style—adjusting gear sifts,
throttle response, steering feel, and more. Choose from
ECO, Sport, Comfort, or a customizable Individual mode,
or an OFFROAD specifically for the 4MATIC® vehicles, all
from the steering wheel.
Seat Comfort
The front seats are ventilated, heated, and
have an advanced option to come with a massage
feature. The second row and third row have
similar available options, so everyone can ride
in comfort.
Trailer Hitch
The trailer hitch allows for 7,700 pounds of
towing power. The included Trailer Stability
Assist eliminates shaking and sway of the trailer.
Trailer Maneuvering Assist helps straighten and
attach your load easily.
The Mercedes-Benz App
MBUX lets you customize countless settings,
then save them in your personal profile in
the Mercedes-Benz app for Apple iPhone®, Apple
Watch® and Android-based phones. Your fingerprint
is one of several ways your GLS knows if it’s
you or another family member driving.
Advanced Driver Assists
With ultimate safety focused driving assists, driving
the GLS SUV is comfortable and efficient. Active Blind
Spot Assist and Parktronic check all the area around the
vehicle, even after its parked. Active DISTRONIC® allows
the vehicle to stay a safe distance from the vehicle
in front of you while in cruise control.

Spacious and agile, the GLS is designed to surpass expectations.
Engines
Advanced tech and an abundance of
torque are provided through both engines
available in the GLS models. The GLS 450’s
375-hp turbo inline-6 and the 510-hp
biturbo V8 have hybrid electrification,
allowing a gas-free and lower emission
boost.
Transmission
The 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission delivers
quick response and quiet cruising. Nine speeds
and fingertip shift paddles, as well as DYNAMIC
SELECT allows you to choose how the vehicle drives.
AIRMATIC® Suspension
A height-adjustable suspension with a standard
multimode allows your vehicle to drive properly
on all terrains and throughout all seasons.
Wireless Charging
Whether you prefer wireless or wired, the GLS will keep
your devices charged with wireless charging and three USB-C
ports—including two located in the rear cabin for passengers.
