Sprinter Diesel Fuel Filter Replacement
Fuel filters are designed to protect the fuel injection system from contaminants in the fuel. These contaminants are harmful to the sensitive fuel injection components. Damage of these components from contaminants is very costly to replace. Fuel filters eventually become saturated with these contaminants and can no longer prevent them from reaching the fuel injection components. Over time the filter material also starts to deteriorate from the corrosive effects from the diesel fuel that they are filtering. When this happens the filter material also becomes a damaging contaminant to the fuel injection system components. By replacing the fuel filter with a new filter at this interval, RBM helps the Customer avoid fuel filter related problems in between their regular scheduled service interval.
Recommended at every 20,000 mile interval.
