Coolant Service

New engine coolant is designed to protect the engine from overheating as well as from the damaging effects from the corrosive acids formed when the coolant protection wears out. Engine coolant deteriorates as it is constantly heated up and cooled down. When this occurs the chemical composition of the coolant breaks down and allows corrosion to damage the interior of the coolant system and engine components. This is very prevalent in Metropolitan Areas (such as Atlanta) and even more so when these areas have very hot and very long summers. This important Service will replace the worn anti‑freeze with new anti‑freeze and perform a comprehensive coolant system evaluation. This Service allows RBM to help Customers avoid engine coolant related problems in between their scheduled Services.

Recommended at every 50,000, 100,000, 150,000 and etc. miles or every 5 years at the closest  scheduled maintenance visit.
