AMG® Front Differential Service
This important Service will replace the worn differential fluid with new fluid. The front differential distributes transmission load evenly to the front wheel axles. As it distributes this load the differential fluid is subjected to tremendous thermal load. This thermal load causes the differential fluid to break down and wear out. Worn fluid is no longer able to properly lubricate and protect the components of the differential. This normal wearing of the fluid is accelerated by driving in Metropolitan Are as (such as Atlanta) while accelerating and turning. More so when driving AMG® performance vehicles. Driving in the Metro Atlanta area is considered to be “severe operating conditions” and should have the differential fluid replaced at regular scheduled intervals. By Servicing the front differential and replacing the differential fluid, RBM helps the Customer avoid front differential problems in between their regular scheduled Services. This Service will also help to prolong the life expectancy of the front differential components.
Recommended at every 40,000 mile interval.
