Maybach 57 & 62

As with luxury yachts, Maybach vehicles are named for their length in meters. The Maybach 57 is 5.73 meters long (18 feet, 3 inches), and is designed for complete driver enjoyment with the ultimate in luxury appointments. At 6.17 meters in length (20 feet, 3 inches) – the longest production automobile in the world – the Maybach 62 is designed to be the ultimate chauffeur-driven luxury car.

Both Maybachs are designed to drive like private luxury jets for the road. The 543-hp, twin-turbocharged V-12 engine accelerates from 0 to 60 in just over five seconds – and in nearly complete silence. Leading technology adapted from Mercedes-Benz helps ensure braking, handling, and safety to match.

The interior of the Maybach is designed to be the ultimate luxury environment. Drivers and passengers experience the ultimate in comfort, along with state-of-the-art entertainment. The interior is outfitted in fine leathers and rare woods. And with the extra length of the Maybach 62, passengers are ensconced in two fully reclining luxury seats.

It takes no less than four months to build a Maybach, from the ordering of the wood and leather through the final assembly, which itself takes more than three weeks. This unhurried rate makes it possible to accommodate extensive handcrafting as well as to meet individual customer requests – making each Maybach automobile virtually unique.
